![]() Otherwise, the formatting will not transfer. NOTE: If you'd like to make new SHEET tabs with the same color-formatting, you'll have to COPY one of the existing sheets. IMPORTANT NOTE: When you fill in your dragons' colors, make sure that the spelling is correct, or the background will not fill appropriately.Īs an example, the second sheet on the excel is my lair's dragons, their gender, colors and ID, so you know what it'll look like when populated. If you know the basics of excel, it should be pretty self explanatory. So if you have more than 7 pages in the same tab, you'll have to do some sleuthing to make it suit your needs. ![]() Frankly, I tried to investigate the page limit on each tab and I believe there doesn't seem to be one. You can scroll horizontally to add more pages in the same tab. You can always right click + hide and right click + unhide to compare different tabs and such. To add more dragons rows, you can right click + make new rows. This is where you can modify things to suit your own lair. Then, you can see you are on the first tab of the sheet, the template. Make a copy of the excel sheet to your own google drive (I did a brief test on Microsoft Excel and it does seem to work as well). This original sheet is in view only mode. So you'll be glad to hear I've painstakingly coded an excel sheet that can help you out! I am tired of clicking and browsing through all my tabs to find close color ranges, and then copy their IDs, to then put it in the Predict Morphology to see if it the offspring would even look good. It's also annoying to navigate your lair when you just wanted to double check whether two dragons would be compatible or not. We all know about the wonderful Flight Rising Color Predictor tool (or maybe you didn't, in which case, you're welcome!), problem is, if you have covered your dragons head to toe in accents, skins and apparel, then you may not be able to keep track of their colors anymore. Hello all! I had way too much free time on my hands at work, and created a useful tool to know ALL of your clan's gene colors at a glance. So you can see all your dragons' colors at once! I don't think that really matters at this point when there are off-site tools that allow players to see the percentages, as have been linked in the previous comments.Color Coded, Responsive Excel Sheet I'm concerned that they won't want to show the gene percentages because they were being vague with the rarities on purpose, but who knows. I'd like to forsee the progeny of saved scries when I'm planning on making new pairs as well, a feature maybe suggested already. It'll eliminate that extra step of hopping over to a separate page to determine whether or not you'll be able to breed them, or if they're too closely related. Two birds, one stone - not only will you be able to see what the offspring might look like, you'll also know whether or not the potential parents are compatible. Why can't everything just be on one page?Īnd I agree with Assay Bloodlines and Foresee Progeny should be combined. As it stands right now, if you want to know the specific color combos of the offspring, you have to click on the preview and it takes you to the Predict Morphology page. And maybe a toggle to preview the offspring as adults? It'd also be nice if there was an option to show the names of the predicted colors not just tiny specks of it (though that would be really cluttered with bigger ranges). Support all of this! I love the mockups you did for the screens. Players shouldn't have to rely on other sites when we should already have such tools here. ![]() There are, as you said, a lot of tools off-site for this, but they're a hodge-podge mix, and, importantly, are offsite, and unless the player knows they exist, most players don't have access to them. The following suggestion is basically a mashup of the two tools because they are basically/nearly perfect. The offsite doesn't let me just copy and paste IDs. The people who made them are saints! But, like the Game Database shows us, just because there is a great tool offsite, doesn't mean this information shouldn't exist onsite. ![]() Every single breeding guide worth their salt will have a link to Flight Rising Color Predictor and Flight Rising Breeding Ratio tool. ![]()
